I moved from the top end 2018 model to the top end 2024 Sony 65 inch OLED. A significant upgrade.

The new Sony R.G.B. is coming. Early reports say it looks very promising. This could be the OLED killer.

We have a Panasonic Z90B that we bought in late 2025. It’s a brilliant TV with built in soundbar and subwoofer, so there’s no need for extra bits and pieces. The picture is truly excellent when used in the film maker mode. Ours is a 42”, the smallest of the range.

Yeano. Sony Bravias aren’t going anywhere but they will be made by TCL. They will still be Sony branded, but they won’t make their own panels anymore.
Sony use LG OLED panels in the mid range models and Samsung Super OLED panels in the top the range models.
