Back in my home town of Appledore (North Devon) for a week. Two lovely pubs in Irsha Street that face one another – looking west The Royal George; looking east The Beaver Inn.
Old joke, adapted:
Q: In Norfolk, what do you get if you stack two phone books?
A: A view.
Mrs Mike wants to visit Norfolk, and I like all of East Anglia. A nice, and quieter place to visit.
Its a lovely county to spend time in
I’d live on a street like that…
Very fortunate to have grown up on this street. The houses on the left back onto the River Torridge, which laps at the sea wall on the full tide…
…and the lucky residents get to see this…
Great shot William
Goodness me Sydney CBD had grown up over the years
The tallest building in the background is the Crown Casino. It’s nicknamed Packers P***S
It’s a beautiful city.
For sure Pete
I wouldn’t be surprised if there were climbing routes on this beautiful crag.
I’m sure there are, however Peregrine Falcons are presently nesting,so I think it’s not allowed,in fact there were notices up preventing drone flying so as not to disturb them.
