Nigels

I thought this would strike a chord with the many eponymites on this forum.

I was listening to that on the radio this morning. Apparently all were welcome to the pub but if your name was not Nigel you had to have a badge on with your name !

Was there a Nigella too ?

Nigel Ponsonby-Smallpiece

Actually it was the Nigels who got the special badge. For something that was a social media sensation, the first time I heard it was in today’s Guardian. Despite anything anyone might say it’s a totally crap name.

Ah but there is one Nigel that will always be special - Nigel Tufnel

I always thought there was something fishy about your choice of forum name…

Plenty of worse names out there and I’d say that a lot of us (myself included) are rather ambivalent to our first/given names.

Well… change it if you want to.

These always Nigela and whipped cream.
