It’s so hot up here in northern Sweden right now,.so I thought that a picture where we bathe fits well today.

My memories of northern Sweden is all the mosquitos. Must have been hard work editing them out 
But I have not been up north since the 80’s.
It is terribly hot also here in mid-sweden, I’m not going outside in this weather. Except to buy more ice-cream.

Soothing and beautiful…
• The picture is from Djuptjärn,Svensbyn…northern Sweden.
You can almost smell the blades of grass,.and the sun-warmed wood.
During a ride with the bike,.you can end up in these environments in northern Sweden.

Fishing late at night…
In northern Sweden you have the views,.the places,the possibilities to be alone in your own thoughts…this in a beautiful peaceful environment.

Problem is that in a few months time it’ll back to snow and early evening.
But they have it nicely worked out, Sweden basically shuts down and goes on holiday in the summer for 2 months or so, and work through the dreary winter etc.

Not really true,.when I have more time,I’ll give a description of what a year looks like here in northern Sweden.
Dreary Winter,.it can be discussed,we don’t see it in that way.
But quite right,.we do the best of what we have…

How many days of sun you have in winter? Mostly sunny or snow, wind, and dark early 80% of time during 6 months?
I understand having lived a while in Michigan and been to the upper peninsula. You enjoy what you have…and its special, not everyone has that experience.

Cloudberries,.Wow…!!
• The gold of the forest,.that we call these berries in northern Sweden.
In Swedish,.these berries are called “Hjortron”,.and these have been picked today.
