Nova not powering up

I seem to have damaged my 5 year old Nova. I get the initial screen and then after 5 seconds it all goes blank. I guess i will have to send it back to Naim but i want to understand whether they setup i have just changed to has caused the problem.

As well as normal connections to my Nova (basically all of them) i also have it connected to my TV (HDMI Arc and Optical). This is mainly to bypass the TV speaker but also to get output from my computer (streaming and Microsoft Teams).

My desktop is connected to the TV with an HDMI cable and thence to the Nova as above.

It did all work initially for several weeks then one day it did not. Any thoughts?

Disconnect every cable from the back of the nova.
Put the power lead back in, make sure it goes all the way in.
Turn it on.
What happens?

Exactly the same. I see the graphic display and then nothing

Try a factory reset; star or nova, same procedure.

Sadly it does not reset. Just the graphic and then nothing

It’s probably just failed, I can’t imagine a scenario where an attached input can affect it.
