NSC222/250 Standby

Forgive me if this has already been asked and answered, but I couldn’t find a direct answer using the search.

If you have a NC 250 set to instant on it never shuts off or goes into standby. However, when you have it connected to an NSC 222 via system automation the lights on the NC 250 go off when you place the NSC 222 in standby. Is the NC 250 also going into standby or are the lights just being shut off on the front panel?

When connected via the automation cable, the NAP250 will power on and off together with the NSC222.
