I like your reasoning. I will wait a little longer, to see how you fully get on with the Gamma.
Currently running Roon on laptop and from I remember, is sounding better than a Nucleus.
Just not sure of next step. Thinking along the lines of Innuos Stream 3, Zen NG or Antipodes Audio K41. ![]()
Have you or anyone else, any input ![]()
Alternatively, I could wait for the Unicorn replacement Core
I had an Innuous Phoenix NET Switch for a while, but found it too soft and bloaty so sold it on after 6 months.

Yes, I also had a Phoenix Net and sold it. Was not convinced in my system it was adding much. I also had a Zenith MkIII, which was not much different to the Core. Hence, my hesitation about buying another Innuos product. Admittedly, the Sense software is very good.
Fellow Naim owners, who also own Antipodes products have nothing but glowing reports for the brand. ???
I have yet to find anything that bests the SL DIN between 333 and 332. I tried a few pricey XLRs. Which XLR is being discussed as preferred here? I might be interested to open this can of worms againā¦
You could buy both from futuresounds and return one based on your findings. There is no other way to know.
Good suggestion ![]()
Just not sure of future direction, either Innuos or Antipodes.
I heard from Antipodes owners, that Shunyata cables are a good match. The Antipodes allegedly, shows the changes through the Shunyata ethernet range of products.
Please do open it up! I use plain Mogami 2549 with metal Neutrik connectors. For the record, Iāve tried Lavender, HiLine and Chord Super Sarum Aray din-din. Whilst each has their strengths, I find the balanced connection delivers a more solid, driving and belivable āwholeā performance. I feel closer to the music, whether Rock, Jazz, Vocal.
One little test - Try āWelcome To The Machineā and try to follow the main vocal and sub-vocal that sits underneath. The balanced connection allows me to hear both in a way Iād never noticed before. Radio voices also sound more present. I realise thatās not the b all and end all of how we enjoy our music, but itās one little indication that itās doing something right - imho.

Had same experience when I demoed it against Ansuz D2 Powerswitch.
