NVCTT whats in the box

Help

Ive recently bought a 2nd hand NVCTT phono stage from a popular Naim retailer who features many items on the popular auction site .

I received my NVCTT without the grey 5 pin din. All the information I can gleen from the manual and online says it’s included.

They are declining to provide the 5 pin din lead, and asked me to purchase one from them .

Does anyone on the forum have experience with this product and what is included.

Superb sounding btw.

Thanks

The website page for the NVC-TT tells you what cables are included. In this case just the power supply cable.

Am I reading the manual wrong .

Richard I’ve bought the phono stage not the power supply , for clarity.

Yes, apologies, power supply cable as per the website page shown.

However, the manual as you show it appears to also include the interconnect, which is a bit confusing. Probably best to get clarification from Naim here.

Clearly it would originally be supplied with everything that’s marked as ‘in the box’. The key thing is whether it was sold ‘with all original accessories’ or ‘sold as seen’. If the former, and they won’t supply the lead, the options are to return it, or to buy the lead, if the price for the NVC was sufficiently low they you can suck it up.

No you are not. When I bought mine, more than 2 years ago, both cables where supplied. They are a standard 5 pin din and a 8 pin din to power the unit from a nsc 222 or nac 332

you bought new or s/h ?

New.

When items are sold on something like Ebay, if the auction doesn’t include accessories that were originally supplied with item, it is usual to describe as.

Auction does not include X, y or z.

Or. Auction only includes items shown in photos.

What did the description say.
Anything like Complete with accessories, box and packaging.

You bought it secondhand, so the seller isn’t required to sell it with the original packaging.
However, they could have made that clear in their listing.

If it is the one that sold on 10/5/26, then that is exactly what it says. Which is unfortunate because if it had said Complete with all accessories, there would be a reason to send it back.

Obviously the OP already has a 5 pin Din, otherwise it would be unusable. My thoughts on this is just enjoy the phono stage and put it down to experience.

That isn’t correct, using the term Complete with indicates all accessories are included.

There is a difference between Supplied with and Complete with.

But the description does state “complete with accessories, box and packaging”.

Complain to the auction site. Get their helpin resolving it.

On eBay, if an item does not meet the description in the listing then you can open a case and return the item for a refund.

Yup that item that day.

I think to argue the point with me is the most disappointing aspect , clearly not all dealers have the same ethos .

The company even said to me today , the interconnect only comes with source components …….err..

I just want my lead for goodness sake ,so shabby.

Ive spent £7000 with them in May and that’s the treatment .

Are they still refusing to supply the lead despite reminding them of the ad text?
