Older HiLine v Newer HighLine

I’ve recently purchased a fairly new H’Line interconnect and I’m really happy with it, but I was wondering if Naim has changed the cable design in any way ?
I have a chance to buy a H’Line which was manufactured in 2010.

Not as far as I know. I have both second hand and new; both great.

HighLines…I’ve had a few, but then again…etc.

I did get a feeling the newer ones had slightly more robust connectors.

I managed to pull the plastic rings right off my brand new 5to5. Clipped straight back on.

I don’t think there’s a difference depending on age. Just some batches were more robust than others. My early HiLine is very old now. Survived 4 house moves and is in perfect condition with no cracks or ring issues. I’m not that gentle with it either.

Others have them falling apart just by looking at them sideways.

So age doesn’t seem to be a factor.

Good Morning all, thanks for your replies.

I fitted a HiLine between my CDX to S’Nait 2 and love it but I don’t want to start swapping it around, so I’ll get another one to connect between my NDX2 to the amplifier. I currently I have a Tellurium Black Q Ultra from NDX2 to amplifier but I’m curious about the H’Line will perform.

Cheers..
