Out of Sync Naim Muso?

Hi all,
I have a Naim Uniti Atom (HE Edition) powering Adam Tensor Delta Speakers and i link them via Roon with my Naim Muso & Naim QB. My main speakers (Tensor Delta) and my QB are in sync but my Muso starts in sync and eventually falls out of sync?
My
Uniti Atom is connected via ethernet
My Muso and QB are conected via wifi
Ive reconnected the Muso and Qb multiple times and still the same issue?
Any ideas?
Thanks
Ed

Is your Muso 1st or 2nd generation?

Can you try connecting the two mu-sos with cable? If that fixes it, it may be that your wifi isn’t sufficiently strong to maintain a solid connection for long periods.

thanks for the responses.
My Muso and QB are both Gen 2.
And my wifi gets speeds of around 490/56.
Maybe its a Roon issue as i play everything through Roon?

It’s not about download speed, rather the strength of the wifi signal, hence why cabling is a useful test.

I’ve had this issue for a few months, some details in Roon grouping and synchronisation of playback.

Since posting that I’ve been doing further digging and it’s always the Muso 2 that gets behind (Muso Qb and ND5XS2 are the other devices). A quick way to reset it is to change the Zone grouping delay, eg add 1ms, but that doesn’t last long though.

Whilst sorry to hear that you’re having this problem, it’s very annoying, it’s good that someone else apart from me has it; it is real! I have a ticket on the Roon forum that is getting some attention and when I next post there I will mention that there is at least one other person who has this.

Yeah thats the same issue im having! The roon grouping delay works for a little but eventually falls out of beat. So annoying!
When i use the Naim app to play music it stays on beat! So its def a Roon issue (i think)

I’ve mentioned that someone else has this on the ticket on Roon forum.

If you set them up in a group with Airplay rather than RAAT, do you get the issue ?

Roon don’t have a Muso in their testing lab so there is not going to be a quick fix I’m afraid @Ed612313

Has this started happening for you recently ? It was fine for me up until a couple of months ago, around the time of the last firmware update, possibly

Yeah. Only the last month or 2 it started. Painful.
Will reinstall roon on my NAS and see if that does anything but if not will delete Roon and just go back to the Naim/Focal App… Not ideal.
Thanks for the responses

Good luck, didn’t work for me sadly.
I wonder if the firmware update at the end of Sept could have introduced this bug. @Richard.Dane is this forum an OK place to ask Naim about this or am I better to give them a ring ?

Best to contact Naim support either via email or phone

I have created a support ticket with Naim. @Ed612313 We don’t know if the problem is with Naim or Roon software

OK great. Thanks guys

I have the same problem here: ND555 and Muso qb2, perfectly synchronized but the Muso 2 lags very quickly.

There is a topic on the Roon forum, other users have the same problem.

I think it dates from the last NAIM firmware update.

Hi
I have the same problem, but with different hardware. A NSC222 and a Uniti Atom. Perfect sync with the Naim app, but drifts after about an hour with Roon. I have calls logged both with Naim support and Roon , but haven’t had any updates yet. I only bought the Atom very recently, so can’t comment about how it behaved with the old firmware.
