Pairing Naim Uniti Nova with KEF R11 Meta

I just purchased the KEF R11 Meta speakers and need something to pair it with. A good simple to use streaming device preferred.

I was wondering if Uniti Nova would do the speakers justice Power wise?

I would love to hear some thoughts since i am new in this overwhelming space

What’s the budget, as I think those speakers are outclassing a nova; I’d be looking at nsc222 plus new 250 at least.

Budget would be 10k Euro. I was looking at the NSC222+NAP250 combo, but as it turns out it doesnt have Hdmi Arc even though it says so on the front page. A one for all device is what i am hoping for, but if that is not reasonable i am open to suggestions. How about Uniti Nova PE? Does that make any difference?

Not having HDMI ARC may not be such a bad thing - HDMI ARC can be hit or miss even at the best of times, optical s/pdif being far more reliable I have found.

I think you’ve set a relatively high bar with the choice of kef speakers.
Most amps will cope, even a nait 50 or xs will drive them, but you won’t hear what the speakers can do.
I’d use optical over hdmi; avoids any compatibility with hdmi variable specifications. Also the Naim boxes with hdmi support pcm stereo only not multichannel.

Optical Toslink also offers galvanic isolation between source and Naim unit. Which has always been a good thing for noisy devices like smart TV’s.

I do have to ask, for regular TV viewing, does it have to be “noise free”? I dont put much emphasis on TV since its something i am using now with the MuSo with hdmi arc and for me is good enough. Its just the simplicity part that works for me. My concern is the quality of sound while listening to music. If i can keep the simplicity with Uniti Nova or Nova PE that would be nice, but if the listening experience will take a beating for it i will reevaluate my choices.
