I love German Sheppards. I lost mine about a year ago, she was only 10. I have 8 grandkids all under the age of 6 and she was so sweet to them. They could climb on her pull her tail or what ever. If she got tired of it she would just get up and move. We were never concerned with her being around. I miss that girl.

Is it true, they have all the great GSD traits, but aren’t anywhere near as highly strung and the “always on” temperament ?
Was my second choice after a Rhodesian Ridgeback.
I still might get one, I do like their intelligent outlook on life.

SBLs on display, lovely grain too. Since the temporary demise of my SL2s I’ve come appreciate how good the SBLs are.
33 years young too, hard to believe I wasn’t even 21 when these SBLs were manufactured!!

Poppy joining me on the sofa for some afternoon tunes. She’s been with us nearly two years now, a mature stray from Portugal rescued by the same charity we have our other dog from. She’s a bossy little thing, but has really found her feet as she’s settled into life with us in our family.
