Phono pre-amp with Supernait 1

I’m having issues with some noise that seems to emanating from my Reaga pre-amp using my newly acquired Supernait 1. I was thinking maybe it was grounding issues. But I have tried different things to solve to no avail. I do use a Thorens TD 160 which has no grounding wire. Tried grounding it. Still same issue. Thorens works fine direct to my other amps. Rega also same issue with other TTs. Suggestions/Ideas? Is it m pre-am//set up/other interference? Thanks! All ideas welcome except buy a Supernait 3 (ha ha)!

Have you tried moving the phono amp away from the Supernait? Could be picking up the (very large) transformer in the Supernait.

I did. Still the same. But I did try plugging it in directly to the wall instead of a powerstrip where I have other pieces plugged into. Seems better so far. May have to go a little better powerstrip. I have a Pyxi pre-amp coming my way and see if that makes a diff. Need two anyway. Thanks

Thinking power conditioner may do the trick if moving the power source helped. May be TT proximity to speaker and will test that, but I don’t have many set up options that will get Boss approval in the main room.

I had an issue like this with Rega Aria mk2 / SN3 and was so difficult to track down but turned out to be an older TV that was putting out noise into power.

Isolated it by moving everything down to minimal config and building up from there. It had been previously fine and came out of nowhere.
