Morning Nick thanks for your response, my friend has offered to buy my Rega so I could upgrade so yours and others responses have got me thinking that this might be an ideal time to go for a change will have to give it some thought not something I had planned but it might be an option.
One point my friend did mention was the bass performance of the Rega which seems to produce slightly less but my thoughts were it’s probably better controlled or tighter bass giving the impression that there is slightly less of it if that makes sense, that was his only slight reservation in going that route but then he said he could add his sub back into the mix which may offset that .
It will be interesting to see how things pan out over the next couple of weeks.
