Was just on the PVine website and noticed they are selling a LP branded as “Phygital Vinyl - linked to blockchain”. It appears the be a traditional vinyl with an accompanying digital copy held on a block chain ( a la NFT’s). Seems like a good way for artists to capture royalties on 2nd hand sales. I recall reading a while back that auction houses had also started using this technology on high value art sales (to record provenance etc.).
Anyone have a take on this?
