The prophecy 7’s are more detailed, natural and have a bigger filled out clearer sound than the prodigy 5’s. I loved the latter , a full fat bass, which my dealer described as flabby compared with the Prophecy 7’s. The 7’s are tighter with the bass and seem to have a good grip on any music. Having said all this I don’t have a lot of experience of hi end speakers as a comparison.
