What was this higher priced system exactly? (amp, pre-amp, speakers, etc…)?
(sorry for off topic, by the way)
I’m afraid it was rather a long time ago and I cannot remember the exact details.
The Nait 2 was partnered with, if I remember correctly, a pair of Epos ES14 speakers (or similar) and sounded amazing to my ears. I subsequently bought a Nait 2.
The other system in a nearby demo cost many, many times more and sounded dull, gloomy, not at all engaging, and generally very sub standard to my ears.
I “think” it was American so it may have been a system by Conrad Johnson, Krell or McIntosh etc. but sorry, I can’t remember details from nearly 30 years ago.
