Power plug orientation

Hi,

I had to dismount the cables of my system but I forgot to look into some details.

I know that it has been covered elsewhere but I can’t find it anymore. Which should be the live slot in Naim power plugs? A small drawing would be welcomed.

Michel, I assume you’re on continental Europe, in which case, the only way to be sure here is to use an induction pen or similar to check the correct polarity orientation of a schuko plug on the mains lead. The IEC inlet goes Live, Ground, Neutral.

Thank you for your prompt answer. I am indeed on continental Europe. I have an induction pen. The live is left indeed if one assumes that the trapeze is on the bottom looking at the plug.

I was referring to the IEC plug side. the other one.
