Hi - I have read the threads ref internet radio - Richard, please don’t just copy and paste your standard answer.
Internet radio just shows ‘empty’ when I go to station list on my NDS. Is there anything else I need to do? I do not what to do a firmware update as my experience of these with Naim is not good, they usually bring the functionality of the new update, but take ages and usually sound worse.
I like to listen to R3 in HD. Is this now no longer possible with the NDS? If so, it might be time to sell up whilst Naim still has some second hand value and go to a real British manufacturer?
Who might that be? Naim are one of the long standing hifi companies in the UK, still manufacturing in Salisbury.
All Cyrus components are made by sms electronics in Nottingham.
Maybe you mean rega? Who have yet to make a streamer.
The vTuner service is a sh**y service which Naim is moving away from with their own inhouse service. New platform streamers have already got the update supporting this and the old platform will get software to be updated to support this new service as well. Tomorrow Naim will inform about this.
You can always get a streamer and connect to your NDS like Lindemann Bridge II, Wiim, Primare NP5 or other to keep your NDS up to date onwards.
