Yeah, defo stole it from Steve Davis. He was saying that in the ‘80’s 
@AndyBain I watched NUFC v Bromley today, expecting your mob to win by at least 4-1. By that measure, the Ravens did well against a scary-good Newcastle.
I’m not a Bromley fan, although I did go to school in the borough. But they’ve come so far since this brilliant book (often dubbed the non-league Fever Pitch).
I’m biased because the author, Dave Roberts, was my best mate from the age of 13. Sadly, Dave didn’t live long enough to enjoy Bromley’s current golden age. He would have been so proud.

It was quite a routine win in the end @bhoyo Bromley had 2 good chances. One was the goal, and then they went very close shortly afterwards. If they’d have gone 2 up, then I would have got a bit nervous.
The Bromley fans were great. I had a chat with some in the pub who’d had a great night out in the Toon on Saturday night. The team did them proud, and they were certainly not disgraced. I hope that they all got home safely and enjoyed their visit to Newcastle

Arteta is to blame for not buying a proper striker in the summer.
Havertz is not the answer. However, I’ve just been reading about the level of online abuse him and his wife have been getting. It’s shocking. What on earth is wrong with some people these days…
