Well done to Arsenal

Before the Bayern v PSG narrative begins tonight that it should’ve been the final let me negate that a little.

Arsenal earned their position on their side of the draw by being top of the league stage unbeaten beating Bayern, Atletico and Inter on the way.

We have conceded just 6 goals through the league stage, round of 16, quarter final and semi final the next least goals conceded was over 20.

We are the third highest goal scorers through the whole CL season and if we do go on to win the final we would have won the competition unbeaten

No matter who wins tonight I can guarantee you they will not put 4 or 5 goals past our defence in the final I would prefer Bayern just because it’s Harry Kane and beating our old nemesis in the biggest club game of his career shutting any calls for a Balon D’or down in the process would be sweet, of course if we loose we will have those sad spuds claiming some small minute victory

Be it Bayern or PSG I feel we have the players to win the final wouldn’t that be sweet!

I’m rooting for you - Arsenal silverware is long overdue.

The thought of Harry Kane playing against Arsenal is an extra level of bite

And so it begins. Yet another wonderful goal.

Different game from the first leg in the end. Kane is some striker. Wave after wave of BM attacks 2nd half thwarted by some outstanding defending from PSG. Should be a great final.

Do Arsenal know they are in the final? The way they were celebrating at the end yesterday I assumed that they thought they had won the tournament.

Force of habit. Arsenal have historically aimed for second place.

PSG celebrating qualifying for the Champions League final against Arsenal last year.

I know both you and Chelsea supporters think footballing history started the day you both bought success but there was well over 100 years before that.

Shame the Villa / Forest match is being played in May , it looks like a January match followed by a spicy curry …

I see McGinn’s back after Emery threw the vital Spurs relegation game. Pivotal player for Villa.

Good luck to Arsenal and Villa and Palace in their respective finals.

Unlucky Forest but congratulations to Crystal Palace who have earned a place in the Conference League final against the lesser spotted Madrid team Rayo Vallecano who will have earned bragging rights over their much more famous neighbours.

Rayo Vallecano represent the working class neighbourhood of Vallecase and still play in a 14,000 seater stadium their supporters are fanatical so the final against Palace should be a cracker.

Very much so

Just on way back from Selhurst - what a night! I already have flights and hotel for Leipzig so here we go!

And Forest out of Europa cup!

Eagles!!!

Shame Gibbs-White couldn’t play today as I think that could have lead to a different game. Forest really never got going and Villa played on the front foot from the off. Emery certainly has the hang of this Europa league competition.
Well done to the Villa and Palace to make their respective finals. And well done to Arsenal, they aren’t my most favourite team but you can’t deny their grit and determination.

And wouldn’t it be good if all three trophies came to Blighty!

A disgrace. Villa should be forced to play with the same “team” they put out against Spurs (I know that’s not possible, but it makes me so angry).

Well done to both Aston Villa and Crystal Palace, poor for the TV coverage of the Palace game that managed to strangle the atmosphere from that match.

It was like watching Match Of The Day in a library
