Premier League Football 25/26

Don’t believe everything you read in the media, although I’ll be pleased if this were true. Thursday night was a total shambles. Nobody knew what they were supposed to be doing, and certainly not Postecoglou. What did Marinakis expect when he kicked out Nuno and imposed big Ange}

There are certain clubs where the problem goes way above the managers

You are quite right. That’s probably why we’ve had about a dozen managers in the last decade. Not sure what is ‘typical’ for clubs of Forest’s size/status/ambition?

What a finish for Chelsea

They copied the idea from Palace

Oh gord.

Now for the insufferable Arsefans…

They are gonna win the treble/quadruple no doubt…

Estevao will defo be a Chelsea legend. He already is a bit tonight :grin::grin::soccer_ball:

Oh and Caicedo is becoming a magnificent player. And Cucurella  I do wonder if those two would currently make it into any team going just now…

I wondered before the season started how Slot would do with Slot’s team rather than Klopp’s team. Liverpool have spent an insane amount but look a tad disjointed. Early days but Slot clearly has plenty to do. Chelsea much the better team I thought.

Chelsea losing centre halves at an alarming rate at the moment. They played well today and well deserved their win but I worry about them going forward if they don’t get any recognized centre halves back. It also makes me question keeping Cucurella in my Fantasy team, although he was pretty decent today

Lots of injuries. Don’t know if it workload or training regimes, can’t help feel a lot is the latter as many of those injured haven’t played many games.

don’t they have 3 or 4 of everything stashed in the changing room?

I think it’s because of the Club World Cup and a 64 games in a 53 week season. No pre-season but for less than a handful of very tame friendlies.

Great to be back at home after an excess of strong Leffe in Brussels for the CL in midweek. Quite a routine victory and very important going into the international break. Thiaw has slipped into the league impressively and hopefully we can keep Botman fit and get Hall back. Yet another clean sheet :black_heart::white_heart:

And possibly getting Big Ang the sack as well…

Let’s not be hasty!

I would welcome his departure from Forest. Square peg, round hole.

Looked like the team also had a bit of a hangover in the first half, they were Ok but definitely lacking a bit of a spark. Much better int he 2nd half and well deserved the three points. Woltemade’s penalty was quite something.

Its a shame Hall might be out for a few weeks as I was really hoping to see both him and Tino playing regularly. That said, Malick Thiaw and Sven Botman look very comfortable together. Thiaw looks a steal at $35m and I still can’t believe how good Tonali is week in and week out.

When Wissa gets fit and Ramsey returns from injury we should have a decent squad. We probably didn’t need the international break at this point in time and I am sure Bruno and Big Joe don’t need to be heading to the far east for 2 meaningless friendlies but I guess that’s modern football for you.

Now to rejig my fantasy team (which was named after Lewis Hall)

Additional time is becoming a farce.

A few weeks ago Everton where pushing to get a draw against Liverpool.
Amount of additional time in the second half, 3 minutes.

Today Everton where playing Palace. Trying to hold onto the lead, there where 4 minutes additional time added onto additional time.

What’s going on.
