It’s obviously bypassed the forum but there was an English team who won the CL First stage winning 8 from 8 having scored the most goals 23 and conceding the least 4.
Mikel Arteta made 11 changes on Wednesday night a record I believe in the CL otherwise that goals for would no doubt have been higher but better than that was the returns of Kai Havertz a goal and an assist in 45 minutes and Ricardo Califiori who gave away a glorious penalty.

The fans are playing?
Well, for the opening ten minutes at Elland Road this afternoon against The Gooners, The Mighty Whites were the quicker and slicker side, and an early goal upset looked quite possible.
Thereafter, the League leaders simply asserted control of proceedings and made us look completely out of our depth.
Matters weren’t helped much by an absolute howler of an own goal from Karl Darlow, though it has to be said that the defence have had their better days.
Hopefully, The Hammers and Burnley results end in our favour.
