Indeed. Recently I have been re-building the heavy metal collection that I had as a teenager and I have been able to get mint original CD releases for a couple of quid.
Lots of comments to the effect of ‘can’t be bothered with eBay, too much effort’ etc. All I can say is that the average £1 - £1.50 profit to be made for CDs that MM would give you 13p for soon mounts up. Selling a hundred albums might take a total of 4-5 hours, netting a return of at least £20 per hour, sometimes much more. I’m amazed there are so many members sufficiently wealthy to be able to turn up their noses at such returns!
