Hi All, could i trouble my learned Naim friends with a question please? Just updated my Nova with the latest firmware update and now have no left channel, everything was fine before the update, have given all the speaker connections a wobble but nothing, this is very worrying what do i do, has anyone else had issues?
Switch off, unplug, go and make yourself a cup of coffee. Enjoy that fo ten minutes, then connect it up and see if it’s working.

If that doesn’t work, do a factory reset.

Hi Roger, followed your instructions to the letter, still the same. Just seen that HH has added something, so I’ll try that too, thank you both.
Yep factory reset is next step, but it does mean you lose presets so worth trying simple switch off first. I hope hard reset works. If not, I’d try swapping the speaker cables between channels to try ruling out a faulty wire.
I really hope you get it sorted. It’s rotten to lose your hifi just when you probably want to listen to it most.

Just a quick thought, does the nova have a balance control?
Yes, in device settings inside the app.
