I have a music library attached to the Unity Stars which contains at the moment more than 1200 CDs. I noticed lately that the meta data get mixed up (e.g. wrong interpreter shown) although correct in the meta data. When starting to play a CD, it occasionally jumps to title 3 after a couple of seconds playing title 1. … and other issues like ferquent pauses when streaming from the library on the Unity Star to the Unity Atom. I assume that the number of CDs/Tracks is getting to large for the software.
Is there a way to spli up the library without having to rip the CDs again?

I would suggest re-booting (disconnect from the mains power) as a first option.
The Star, possibly router too.
If restarting the router, let it totally restart before you re-connect the Star.
