Can my MuSo Gen 1 and QB1 be fitted with a newer WIFi module as on the MuSo Gen 2?
No they can’t.

You can however chain them off the latest and greatest wireless access point.
Around a decade ago, maybe even longer and when Muso znd Qb gen 1 were current models, Naim advised installing Ubiquiti WAPs, back hauled to the router.
Installed four here across two buildings, all on same network, never had an issue with Muso, Qb, iOS app or any streamer on wifi.
If you have lighting, heating or water in your home, then almost every home can easily accommodate one or more runs of cat5/6 cable, either diy or a job for an efficient sparky.
Once installed, very unlikely to have issues. Is your mesh Orbi?

Our gen 1 muso happily connects to the WiFi mesh “node” in my better half’s garden office.
Thanks, mine all connect but drop out regularly for sometimes long periods of time.

Mesh is great. Consumer products using non-standard variations of mesh are the problem.
