I see echoes of the Cornflake Shop’s old "NAIT blaster"from 40 years ago…

Wish I still had my Mk1 Diamonds. £63 from Comet in Exeter. Wonder what they’d sound on the end of my set up today?

I have a couple of pairs of the Diamond’s competitor, the Goodmans Maxim 2s, and when I tried a pair on serious stands and on the end of the main Naim system, they sounded incredible for their size and modest cost.

Once again a great topic I think I put something out months ago reference the old Cornflake Shop portable system.

I remember buying a pair of heavily discounted Diamond’s in Red and putting them on the end of a CB 42.5/hicap/250 and been blown away

It was idle fascination and the little red boxes were quite inexpensive but what fun

They were placed on Linn Kan MK 1 stands.

There was this one from 1970. Probably Richard has one in his storage:

Sanyo portable suitcase

New tiny vinyl record player.
