Early this year, I believe, Apple announced that Siri will now accept voice commands to play music from Qobuz. (e.g. “Hey Siri, play my jazz playlist from Qobuz.”) That works for me, but I can’t get it to play an album. If I say, “Hey Siri, play the album “Abbey Road” from Qobuz,” it will play a single track (on different occasions, I’ve gotten “Come Together” and “Here Comes the Sun,”) but only that track. Has anyone else had this problem? Or can anyone else test it to see if they have the same experience?
As background, I have a Qobuz Sublime account but no Apple Music account, if that makes any difference. I’m using an iPhone 15 with iOS 26.5.
BTW - I reported the behavior to Qobuz a couple of months ago and got a response that they will look into it. Also, Siri seems to better understand “Qobuz” with the “Quo” rhyming with toe and the “buz” suggesting alcohol. (Oddly, Siri itself doesn’t pronounce it that way.)
So far I have got Siri to recognise and play a particular artist. However if I ask for a specific album from an artist it just plays a random album from that artist.
The Apple CarPlay integration of Qobuz is a disaster. Does not work well with Siri and just presents a random mix of stuff from my library. The software overall seems to have become very unreliable - like others am getting tracks skipping regularly as well.
My hope is that the upcoming improvements to apple intelligence will help. I’m not sure how much it’s the Qobuz app vs how marginally useful Siri has been for the past 3-4 years.
