Am getting intermittent audio drop out on Qobuz, however Tidal Connect is ok. I am using the latest firmware on my Nova PE. It is using a wired connection direct from eero router with 500mbps. This would suggest a firmware problem? Anyone have the same?
Yep, been doing it since the last FW update and the new one didnāt fix it.
No problem with Nova with firmware here using Qobuz and Tidal.
Naim iOS app shows a firmware number for the Novaā¦ālatestā is not a number.
Why comment? Anyone reading this thread has no knowledge as to which firmware version to which you are referring.
Try switching off the unit, ditto app, then restart router, leave it a shortish time, then restart the streamer and control device. Internet speed is no guide; your router will need to adequately handle streaming, not all units do so, regrettably.
No problem at home (in Switzerland) with the Nova PE where Iām currently listening to a Beethoven concerto in HiRes on Qobuz. I canāt say anything about TIDAL, which I cancelled last week.
I am experiencing it also, the last few days, if you mean sometimes the stream stops and then goes on.
Not with the previous firmware though.
But could also be the providing source āQobuzā in this instance!
I have a Star btw.
Iāve cured the problem.
Originally I had Chord Shawline Ethernet cable from the router with a EE1 and then Chord Sarum T Ethernet on the last leg to Nova PE.
I replaced the Shawline with a cheap cat5e(keeping the EE1 and Sarum T) and no more drop outs. My system also sounds better!
Quite surprised to have a faulty Shawline I guess itās probably the plugs.
