I’ve had it skipping tracks, cutting them off part way through, suggesting Qobuz connect isn’t available and various other ‘issues’. They aren’t fatal, a bit annoying, but not fatal. I think there was a thread on Qobuz issues really. Seems that they’ve been having some problems. Should be resolved soon.
Are they just “ downloaded “ tracks within the app or are they purchased and downloaded from the Store?
If the former..I understand Qobuz needs a prior recent connection to authenticate your subscription before playing anything stored within the app.
They’re “downloaded”.
Under what process condition do you mean by “prior recent connection”? A connection with internet enablement? There have been plenty of those. It was even working perfectly without as I sat on the plane before getting gradually glitchy and then cutting out altogether…
PS, tried uninstalling and reloading. Didn’t make a difference.
Yes Mike..I mean an Internet connection.
You say you had connection prior.. so apologies.. unable to suggest anything else.
I’ve emailed their CS department. If there’s no change before my next flights in June I think I’ll let Tidal come to the rescue.
i have found if you tick the just downloaded box before playing it finds its way past the glitchy tracks -but of course you miss out on those tracks - hopefully they will get their act together soon
So this morning I had a tactic suggestion from the Qobuz AI help bot. Used it. Turned off all internet access.
Tunes that I downloaded the way I did previously and tunes downloaded with the new suggestion both worked flawlessly.
Must have been a rogue AI gremlin.
We’ll see what happens when I’m in the air again on Monday…
Hello!
Today I have updated my Uniti Nova PE to 3.12
I can’t longer connect to Qobuz. My GOOD password is no longer recognized. With same password (copy/paste) I can log in Qobuz on the web but not in the app Focal&Naim. I have erased app and new installed from App Store but no connection possible.
Please what Can I do?
Disconnect Qobuz from everywhere, then change the password. Maybe it will work.
Yessssss!
It’s ok. Thank You very much.
Focal/Naim app is not seeing Qobuz tracks. My 222 will play using Qobuz Connect. It’s odd because all was fine a couple of hours ago.
Similar issue here. Trying to drive qobux from naim app impossible. The naim app only returns playlists. Logging out/in doesn’t fix things. Now having to drive the ndx2 from qobuz connect, which I dont like. .![]()
Looks like a Qobuz end issue. The connect app is s l o w to resond. Looks like one of the servers is in France and is taking industrial action.
Focal/Naim is back in service for Qobuz tracks after a one hour interruption.
Try the Beta version of the app. It’s very snappy indeed on my iPad Pro.No problems here at all.
Beta and regular apps were both Fubar earlier. Looks like it was a a qobuz dishing up issue.
Interestingly, the beta version of app has a lower version number in brackets, than the regular release version.
I’m not sure if this is relevant, I had a notification from uptime.com this afternoon informing me that Qobuz was down, the report said internal service error. It was down for an hour and a half.
I get this sometimes on NYC subway where connection comes and goes between stops frequently… I’ve noticed that even if an album / track is downloaded - if the phone sees a network connection either cellular or WiFi - it seems to attempt to stream the files rather than play from local storage. In this scenario the network connection isn’t stable enough to stream the file, but it keeps trying and results in an error or just no playback.
Switching to airplane mode forces it to play from downloaded storage
