Quote Function not working?

I’m possibly having a senior moment, but do I tap the quotation marks to quote a post? I’m sure that’s what I’ve always done.

I think just highlight the text and the quote options present for me.

Just noticed this today - was wondering if it was my browser/ad-blocker.

I think the older method was simpler - easier to delete text you didn’t want as attempts at selecting text and quoting have not worked perfectly earlier.

Will no doubt get used to it quite quickly.

I wonder if it’s a change to reduce post sizes as people may not bother quoting as often.
