RadioParadise Flac Streams not working

Thanks for the link.

Here are the stations in my .m3u file:

#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:-1,[RP] Radio Paradise FLAC
http://stream.radioparadise.com/flac
#EXTINF:-1,[RPMellow] RP Mellow Mix FLAC
http://stream.radioparadise.com/mellow-flac
#EXTINF:-1,[JBRadio2] JB Radio2 FLAC
http://199.189.87.9:10999/flac
#EXTINF:-1,[ChillOutZone] Chill Out Zone FLAC
http://air.chillout.zone:8000/radio/chillout_plus
#EXTINF:-1,[RPRock] RP Rock Mix FLAC
http://stream.radioparadise.com/rock-flac
#EXTINF:-1,[RPEclectic] RP Eclectic Mix FLAC
http://stream.radioparadise.com/eclectic-flac
#EXTINF:-1,[Naim] Naim Radio
http://37.130.228.60.:8090/

It looks like the eclectic stream has a different url now. But as Gavin says it doesnā€™t work with the Naim app.

Can you not add them to vTuner? I did for a while but since factory resetting I have lost them.

Iā€™m on a legacy streamer so Iā€™m using minimserver from my QNAP. Never had an issue before. And now the RP streams are not working again.

My RP FLAC streams (using Minimserver on Melco) have also stopped working, just noticed this today. Will check the URLā€™s at some point over the weekend as I seem to remember putting some temporary addresses in a couple of months ago while RP changed something about. May have changed the URLā€™s again?

I notice the new links on the RP site use https and the older links I used are http. Would this make a difference?

It looks like thereā€™s a minimserver 2 now. I canā€™t recall the last time I updated minimserver. Iā€™m going to try updating when I get back on my mac.

I looked at the streams in your m3u file. They donā€™t appear to be correct.
For example, your Radio Paradise FLAC is:
http://stream.radioparadise.com/flac
Should be:
http://stream.radioparadise.com/flacm
You are missing the ā€œmā€ at the end.

See their website for details, http can still be used.

https://radioparadise.com/listen/stream-links

The ā€œMā€ is for the meta data streams and I havenā€™t tried those yet.

Got yah, but your stream URLs appear incorrect regardless.

Yes, I mentioned Iā€™m using http instead of https. I will try that when I get back on my mac.

FYI, Iā€™m using all the RP http streams with the ā€œmā€ at the end, all good here. Cheersā€¦

Again RP streams arenā€™t working for me.

Can someone with legacy streamers and using minimserver say if the Flac stream is working and post the url.
Thanks

Iā€™ve installed all the firmware updates for my QNAP and rebooted and the RP streams still donā€™t work, http, https, flac, flacm, no combination results in playback.

I canā€™t recall how to update minimserver so Iā€™m on the website trying to see if I have the latest version.

All of my RP FLAC streams work in a browser so I wonder if itā€™s something else causing problems.

Iā€™ll see if I can help with some info. There was some upgrades/changes over the past couple of days.

Iā€™d be curious if anyone that canā€™t connect is able to connect to stream-uk dot radioparadise dot com or icy-8 dot radioparadise dot com

And the /flacm streams did get some improvements. So they should be more reliable than in the past.

Donā€™t think Sonos use the full flac stream but itā€™s stopped working on Sonos via Tunein and Sonos radio too.

Just looked on the RP website and there is a message stating that the service is currently unavailable via Tunein in the UK due to a licensing dispute between Tunein and PRS, so that explains the Sonos issue.

Ok, so I tried the stream-uk URL, I got a signal but it sounded encrypted, as though it was playing under water!

Tried the icy-8 URL and that works! It reads that Iā€™m getting PCM 44.1kHz 1411kb/s.

I tried updating to the latest address shown in the Flac lists posted above by El Marko, but could not get those to work, so it looks like the icy-8 URL is the one to use for those accessing the high res streams via a playlist set up on Melco.

Thanks jarro!

Where did you find icy-8 url?

Do you have a working icy-8 url for the mellow stream?

Thank you.

Iā€™ll check my RP streams today. According to the doc MinimStreamer strips out any metadata so weā€™re unlikely to see this in the app.
