Lovely thing. Have you thought of stripping it, polishing all the moving parts and oiling it. It should then run with a little compressed air.

I’ve just started cleaning it, isopropyl at mo, all the bits I can reach with a cotton bud or 100, I’m hoping I won’t need to strip it, still feels like a fair bit of compression in the chamber, and moves freely. Once cleaned up, I give it some oil as there are some tiny holes for this i have discovered, and will put some grease on the shaft, I can remember this running on a fish tank air pump,
