I might go full digital in the future but for now just enjoying the building process sorry haven’t posted anything for a while been really busy with work and family also been away so will probably get back to it this weekend. Have wired second track ready to run so if all goes well scenery will start soon

Got all the bits now, just need to clear the decks and fit to the base board (6ft by 2ft) fits behind the sofa when not in use. It will be DCC. Just noticed that my class 37 will go round a 438mm radius curve so pondering the possibility of a loop which I hadn’t considered before.

Looking forward to seeing this progress, have you got a track plan in mind.

I did but I’m revisiting it with a view to having a loop. It will comprise a double engine shed and a small station with facilities for shunting 2-3 trains and hopefully a mainline loop. Needs drawing out again now.

Make sure you do have a plan and try to stick to it as much as possible it will make life easier good luck and above all else enjoy it get some good tunes and the hours just fly past
