RCA splitter/Nova

I am buying a CD player soon (which one? That’s another story. . . haven’t decided yet) but my Nova’s two RCAs are in use, so will deploy an RCA splitter.

Is there anything I should consider that may affect SQ or functionality before I buy one?

This may be redundant if I buy a CD transport or use a digital out on the upcoming CD player, but that may not be the case.

I would suggest rather than a splitter (which likely will impact on performance) get an input expander switch, such as the ones that were made by QED (good audio quality).

The Nova is going to digitise the input in any case, so maybe you should just get a digital transport with an SPDIF connection.

Go to the DIN input with a rca-DIN cable. The DIN is better
