RCA to Din Cables in the USA

Can anyone recommend a source for a good cable for RCA source to 5 pin DIN to use with a Nait 50? I usually use Chord cables but it appears they are non-existent in the US right now. I’m not even finding any Naim cables as an alternative.

Thanks!

News to me. The Sound Org still list themselves as the distributor here in the States.

If Sound Org has stopped distribution you can get in touch with Peter Swain of Cymbiosis in the UK and he may be able to send one in.

Another option is to contact Chris West and Nick D at AV options. They have started fabricating their own line of cables and will happily make one up for you.

Thanks! They are still listed but there appears to be no stock.

Hi,
there are some RCA to DIN cables in the Bridges and Falls series from Audioquest, too.

Unfortunately the Audioquest cables are all Din > RCA. I have found a Naim cable that’s RCA to DIN but it’s about $100 more than the Chord Clearway. But it looks like I have little choice.

Try to send an e-mail to Cardas with your request.

I have a Transparant Super interlink. Very happy with it. Preferred it above the Chord interconnect. But this is a 3-pins DIN I guess. Customized for Naim, so who knows.

I hope you find something to suit you but perhaps this is an effect of something beginning with “T”

AVOptions makes an excellent DIN to RCA and RCA to DIN, specifically voiced for Naim. I own many of their cables and have been extremely happy.

WireWorld in Florida makes cables to order; worked for me.

Yes. Forgot all about that company. I buy their digital cables and used to buy their HDMI cables. Thanks!

I did find a dealer with a demo Chord that they are sending me.

And yes, apparently it’s due to the “T” word referenced above.

Or, if you are handy with a soldering iron, you can buy the DIN and RCA parts online, use suitable wire and have fun, easy to make.
