I had to move my turntable over the weekend and did some cleaning as well; removed the counterweight so had to rebalance and set it up again. Not sure if it’s my ears or something else, but it now seems to sound a bit ‘muddier’
Pretty sure everything is set correctly (arm, tracking force, bias) back to where it was before. Is there anything that might be causing a slightly heavier sound? I can start playing around with the tracking force adjustment and bias, but unsure if it’s one or the other - I don’t want to get stuck in an endless loop of tweaking.
Which I think I will.
