I really like my Eero 6 Router that was supplied by T.Talk, and includes Eero Plus subscription which would cost £9.99pm. However if I move away from TT, I will loose all the great Firewall type features if offers such as
1)Ad-Block
2)Device Profiles, where you configure different restriction, then you add a device to that group
3)Detect and block malware, viruses, and ransomware
4)block access to malicious sites that can lead to phishing attempts, viruses, and advanced cyberattacks
etc…
I particularly like the profile setting, where I would typically lock down my streamer or printers more than say a laptop
So the question is, are there other good routers (possibly that allow you to add a second device as part of a mesh) that offer equally good but simple to use firewall configuration that I can consider for purchase that DOESN’T have a pesky subscription?
