@IB, This was great advice, thank you. To be honest I hadn’t really thought about the option of ex-demo.
Thanks Kevin, I got a great deal on a pair of slightly marked cabinet Neat Alpha’s and just before I was about to buy a new list price Atom, I also found a Naim dealer who offered me a nearly new ex demo Star for nearly the same price as the new Atom. … The journey begins!

Q-Acoustics are remarkable for their price. I tried a pair of 3020’s on my Atom and I couldn’t believe how great they sounded.
However, I do usually use Kudos X3 (floor standers) on the Atom, so the Q-Acoustic floor standers you’re looking at I feel sure wouldn’t disappoint.
