Yup, along with Explosions in the Glass Palace. The Rain Parade were, in my view, easily the best of the Paisley Underground bands.

Indeed, although the Paisley Underground scene had different genres. I saw the Rain Parade twice in the UK. The Dream Syndicate were next on my list, and have recently re-formed. If you like the scene it is worth checking out the recent CD 3 x 4 featuring The Bangles, Three O’Clock, Dream Syndicate and The Rain Parade playing 3 tunes from the other bands. The Rain Parade set is excellent.

Beautiful song writing and music. I saw them at the Mean Fiddler around 1993, puperb gig. 
Yes it’s a great album, IMHO there are few finer live experiences than the current Dream Syndicate.
