Sad news. He and Dr Hook were great. I preferred the anarchic/satirical early years rather than their more mainstream pop. Songs like Freaking at the Freakers Ball, The cover of the Rolling Stone and Carry me Carrie come to mind, plus The Queen of the Silver Dollar.

He had a good voice. RIP.

Fine singer, I loved the work he did with Dr Hook. I saw him do a great set at a festival around 20 years ago, really good voice and a lot of excellent songs to choose from. RIP Dennis.
