Sky were a favourite of my late father and I still have his original releases on vinyl of 1, 2 & 3
Flowers played with so many people. I always found it interesting that a Bass player (Electric & Double), also played the Tuba and very well at that.

The only time I saw Herbie Flowers was with Sky at Croydon Fairfield Halls. Remember seeing him on the box with Blue Mink on TOTP. RIP.

Another musician who has died largely unnoticed is Bruno George ‘Zoot’ Money who died on the 8th of September a major player in the British R n B scene
