RIP Keith Tippett, jazz pianist extraordinaire.
He performed on three King Crimson albums, and lots more besides.
But his playing on ‘Cat Food’ is even better than the lyrics. Which is really saying something.
Listen up, maybe raise a glass.

Very sad news - a huge talent and a most decent gentleman. Up there with Westbrook, Ardley, Gibbs and Collier as a major driving force when the new British Jazz came of age.
