I was very very sad and upset to hear about Lyndon’s passing. I came home from work with an e-mail from Toni Iommi informing me. One of those great amplifier innovators and a man of vision, in fact Laney is up there with Marshall, Vox, Orange and Fender. Although my first personal contact with Lyndon was with his own amps, my ongoing contact with him was when he took over H+H. His direction of them made H+H THE go to for stage amplification and speakers. Especially H+H bass bins, mids and horns. It changed my world for the better at that time. If you were a regular at Uni gigs or collage gigs in the 70’s or early 80’s, chances are you were listening via a complete H+H PA. Lyndon certainly help shape the early part of my working life and i suspect many many others.
