Once again another sad loss, a very talented, funny and gracious man R.I.P.

No POG gone.

Lives just along the road from me at Aldington - nice house over looking Romney Marsh.

Often seen in the local Waitrose at Hythe - he will be sadly missed in the area.

What a shame, he did a lot of work on behalf of animal charities

And Lilly Savage was very funny and didn’t outstay “her” welcome

Very sad news. He was a great ambassador for Battersea Dog’s Home.

Shame. Always seemed like a very decent sort.

I always enjoyed each of his personalities.

His work for both Battersea and Stonewall will be a great loss.

Very sad news. His Sunday Radio 2 show was always a good listen. He obviously loved animals too, which made him a very decent human being in my book.

RIP Paul.

As dog lovers we were saddened by the news. Will miss him and his programmes about Battersea.

He was unsurprisingly quite upset and bitter about being nudged out. Which can’t have been good for his health.

Rob Beckett killed the father of Lilly Savage?

Thoroughly genuine guy that wore his heart on his sleeve.
Not many like him.
Lilly & Paul tart with a heart.

I have found myself surprisingly affected by this loss. He was one of the good people and he and Lily will be much missed here.

Yes, always seemed extremely genuine and simply a good egg.

His Sunday afternoon/evening shows on R2 were great. Like he was with you chatting in the kitchen on a winters evening while we were cooking a roast dinner.
His TV shows with Battersea were also very enjoyable.
Never met him, but seemed a good guy.

Yes - you have to be down on the marsh - Burmarsh way to see the house.

You know Julian Clary used to live at the bottom of the hill, until a few years ago, in Noel Coward’s old house Goldenhurst.

On my way to Rye this morning I took a short cut through Romney Marsh and passing by St Rumwold’s I stopped to pay my respects to POG.
