Rightly or wrongly, I like to think that I have heard of most HiFi manufacturers, including the more obscure ones. However, despite being in business for years, Rowen has passed me by.
They are currently part of Dynavox and appear to only sell in Switzerland and Germany (possibly why I’ve not heard of them) yet despite the limited market size, they offer a big range of Swiss-made products including many different speakers, active options (think Naim-type crossovers) and amplification. The amplification is particularly interesting as it is designed to drive very low impedance loads and many of the pre-amps are powered either by the power amps or separate power supplies - again in a way similar to Naim.
Has anyone else heard of the company and/or had experience of their products?
