I mentioned to the HiFi emporium that fed up with dog’s hairs I intended to replace the quality wooden carpet with a wooden floor.
Never one to miss a sales opportunity he said let me know when it is laid and I will bring some new speakers for audition and my mate sells quality rugs so you will need to meet him.
So I have decide wool carpet liberally interwoven with dog hair is probably so acoustically perfect it could be sold as a HiFi accessory.

Although Albert is brushed and,yes,vacuumed daily the amount of shed hair is incredible.

We have oak flooring downstairs and I would say the rug between the speakers and listening position is acoustically essential.

Might get splinters from wooden carpets.
