RUSH Reunion Tour 2026

It’s just been announced across multiple platforms that the two remaining members of Rush Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson are to reunite for a tour in 2026 no dates as yet but already feeling excited just hope they do not miss out the UK this time

That’s a shame no UK or even European dates there hopefully they will add some further down the line

Oh boy, the 20 year old just identified their ideal 21st birthday present. So, much signing up to pre sale has been going on.

Looks like I’m off to NY MSG next year :crossed_fingers: :face_with_peeking_eye:

Bittersweet. Happy for Geddy & Alex. Sad to see someone other than Neil back there.

Interesting that they plan to have a keyboard player on the stage as well, to liberate Geddy from the synths.

And, as Alex says, “…so we can start working on the dance routines we’ve wanted to do for so long.”

Really pleased that they have found a way to keep on playing their music. Alex and Geddy are clearly so comfortable with each other and yet again the buzz of playing live, and developing your art, has found a way. Really interesting choice of drummer too.

I would expect UK dates, partcularly as Geddy has often said he really wanted the farewell tour to come to the UK. I like the fact they are going to play a combination of their ‘hits’ and personal favourites. Could lead to a more relaxed show - can’t wait!!!

I loved the little video. The two of them clearly get along so well and they have still been getting together to jam and play their songs so this is a pleasant announcement. I like the idea of giving Geddy the option to step away from his keyboards

I think some live Rush might be up for some listening soon…

This is what I’m up against.

As an alternative to what would likely turn into a couple of weeks in the US or Canada, I have suggested the Rush tribute band at the Academy in Manchester in November. To make the experience more realistic they can get a train to Leeds/Bradford and fly down to Manchester .

Everything crossed for a UK tour. Loki-son very excited (he’s a drummer…)

Already doubled the length of the US and Canada stuff. Those extra dates run on ever so neatly i.e. they were going to be played from the off but only requested when they knew the demand was there.

Hard to read whether they’ll extend to over here but you can bet they if they do they were booked a long time ago. Mate’s wife is friends with the person in charge of ticketing for a certain large organisation in North America. I still have the scar on my leg where she once stabbed me, accidentally, with a corkscrew.

I have used my contacts for hints. In the past they’ve always been forthcoming no matter the scale of the artist. This time round total silence. Either they’ve not got the contract or it’s not happening.

I am confident they will be coming to Europe (refuse to contemplate the alternative!). Geddy spoke on his book tour about regret at missing the UK out on the farewell tour and it was always Neil (bless him) who was reluctant to tour. I suspect London was always associated with memories of personal loss for him.

Historically, the band have always looked to bring the same production from the US / Canadian shows and that suggests 3 or 4 large arenas in the UK for 2 or 3 nights each. Hopefully, bookings are in place and ticket release will be timed to avoid clashing with other announcements.

It would be nice if they popped down to New Zealand. They have never played here and are the one band I’ve wanted to see live that I haven’t.

Everything crossed. Give my regards to the Snow Dog.

You’re not missing much.

Love a bit of “prog” (Gentle Giant,VdGG amongst others) but never “got” Rush. Their well documented love of Ayn Rand may have got something to do with it but… probably that whiney vocal with too much twiddly-diddly look-at-me-I’.m-so clever nonsense (like Yes from Tales of Topographic blah blah onwards) just left me cold. But good luck to those that like that kind of thing.

Not so sure they will be plying here By_Tor so I’ve just bought tickets for Toronto

There’s another complication to world cup 2026 plans! Gotta be done I reckon?
