We tried using two power supplies on a NAP500 at the factory many years back. It did some interesting things. The sound seemed to grow in size and space but at the same time it was all less of a whole and picked apart, which detracted from the music. So, overall not a success unless you favoured “hifi” effects over music. I recall that Roy speculated that perhaps the unused channel of each PS was contributing “parasitic effects” (no idea, so please don’t ask)…
